Lets get the facts straight on Kashmir and its military control:
Kashmir is under military control and has 3 parts
- Indian Kashmir
- Pakistan Kashmir
- China Kashmir
I respect all the people who have put in their lives for this disputed territory and whose lives are affected by political nature of this conflict.
1) First and foremost, I thank Indian army soldiers for defending our part day and night
2) Pakistan army and China army for doing their duty
3) I thank the People of Kashmir and People of India who are financing the Indian army through our taxes.
Now for the resolution:
Short term: We did a great job of a surgical strike and showed our determination to hold our territory.
Long term: We need to engage with China and Pakistan and declare the Line of Control as the international border. We should also request Kashmir people to accept India as their country and no special constitutional status.
Dont believe our Press and our Parliament: They are drumming up emotions today that Indian army Jawan is important. 6 months down the line, they will organize a peace meet with Pakistan and they will again change to war jingoism in the next 6 months. Did anyone (India press or politician) tell you that China is also an equal aggressor. All the drama about Pakistani artist, SAARC isolation of Pakistan and in international forums, did anyone think “Dude, what about China?” Whats our strategy? In reality, there is none.
India, China and Pakistan can unite, can progess. We have nothing to lose and only gains if there is peace. Just think, if a Indian and a Pakistani can be roommates in USA, why cant we have brotherly relation between us. We are culturally the same. International bankers and the arm dealers are responsible for this building of tensions. Every parliamentarian (India, China, US and Pakistan) are in their pockets. Hope it makes sense.
